The battle gets wild as fights rage everywhere and both classes push each other to the limit!
After Tenya Ida reveals his new move, Class 1-B reworks their plan as Juzo Honenuki rushes to support his friends. The action ramps up as the third match reaches its climax!
Memories usually come up at key times and push characters past their previous limitations and this is practically necessary for powering up. Tenya Ida recalls his brother’s legacy as Ingenium and busts out a brand new recipro turbo; the speed is wild and difficult to control. He even manages to capture Sen Kaibara with his ludicrous movement. Shoto Todoroki also takes a trip down memory lane and looks back at a painful training session with his father; definitely not a happy moment for the father-son duo but it successfully fires up the young hero! The animation for this episode also went plus ultra with all the crisp sequences involving hand-to-hand combat and explosive energy.
1-B Doesn't Give Up
Class 1-A’s fresh power-ups seem amazing but Class 1-B’s squad proves their worth and fights hard. The horns from Pony Tsunotori are incredibly cumbersome and she takes Mashirao Ojiro down! She’s lowkey interesting and her English adds a bit of razzle-dazzle to the character. Furthermore, Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu has no trouble dealing with both of Shoto’s halves. To make things more difficult, Juzo Honenuki’s softening provides excellent support for his entire team. Once again, Class 1-B’s team shows up in a big way and fights to the end!
What a Way to End
All students from both classes are literally at their limits when each side tries to make one final push to secure victory for their respective teams. Ida, a true man of values, prioritizes the safety of an unconscious Shoto over capturing opponents. However, Honenuki and Tetsutetsu, both at their ultimate limit, perform a final combo attack to stop Ida from scurrying away. As a result, the four students are knocked out; which leaves Rocketti up against Tentacole. A final brawl seems out of the question and 1-B’s lone survivor does what she has to do in order to prevent another loss.

This match was fantastic! Ida’s new technique lit up the screen (literally) thanks to his flashy high-speed maneuvering. The animation of his movement, along with the respective comic-like onomatopoeia, created a wildly entertaining sequence. Plus, it was great to see the class representative power-up like that! Mr. speedy stole most of the show with his brand-new move and unwavering ideals but Shoto’s extra-hot flames definitely wowed viewers as well. On top of the solid character development, the fights were fun to watch. The fluid animation was incredible especially for the hand-to-hand combat. Class 1-B’s team looked pretty strong especially since they were up against memory-fueled powerups. The extra bit of humor from Vlad’s biased commentary was, as always, great to see.
Three matches are over and the overall score is very close! The next fight’s probably going to be a thriller since fan-favorite Bakugo is up. It’ll be Class 1-A’s Katsuki Bakugo, Hanta Sero, Rikido Sato, and Kyoka Jiro up against Class 1-B’s Setsuna Tokage, Yosetsu Awase, Kojiro Bondo, and Togaru Kamakiri! Tune in next time as the fourth battle begins!
