Streaming platform Netflix has announced that a second season is ongoing production for the anime adaptation of Yabako Sandrovich and Daromeon's martial arts series Kengan Ashura.

Below is the official announcement.

Kengan Ashura (Japanese: ケンガンアシュラ) is a Japanese manga series written by Yabako Sandrovich and illustrated by Daromeon. It was serialized on Shogakukan's Ura Sunday website from April 2012 to August 2018, with its chapters compiled into 27 tankōbon volumes. A sequel, titled Kengan Omega, began in January 2019.

Kengan Ashura was adapted into an original net animation (ONA) series. Season 1 aired on Netflix in July 2019 (part 1) and in October 2019 (part 2).

For this season 2, the anime will cover the final match at the Kengan Annihilation Tournament. Below is the key visual that is also reflected on the anime's official website.
