Wit Studio is partnering with Netflix for another original anime film titled Bubble. This parkour anime film premieres worldwide on the streaming platform this April 28, 2022, and on May 13, 2022, in Japanese theatres.
The film is set in a fictional version of Tokyo where bubbles have fallen to earth, causing the gradual breakdown of gravity. This enables Hibiki and the other characters to practice parkour as they jump from building to building.
The film is managed by some of the biggest names in the industry. It will be directed by Tetsuro Araki (Death Note, Attack on Titan, Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress), with screenplay by Gen Urobuchi (Fate/Zero, Psycho-Pass, Puella Magi Madoka Magica) and music by Hiroyuki Sawano (Attack on Titan, Aldnoah.Zero, The Seven Deadly Sins).
