Oregairu's Hachiman and Given's Akihiko voice actor Takuya Eguchi announces solo music debut

The official YouTube channel of music label company Kiramune has streamed on Sunday an announcement video revealing that voice actor and singer Takuya Eguchi is making a solo debut in his music career this week under the Kiramune label. A mini album will be released on April 21, 2021.

Eguchi's pre-debut photos were also released and more information will be further revealed on Kiramune's official website as soon as it is decided.


The mini album comes in two versions: a regular version and luxury version. The Blu-ray luxury version will include music clips, behind-the-scenes clips and trailers, and a message card which is limited only to the initial production.

Being affiliated with talent agency 81 Produce, Takuya Eguchi has voiced different roles in anime series such as Kazuya Kujo in "Gosick", Yoshiharu Sagara in "The Ambition of Oda Nobuna", Kon Hokaze in "Ixion Saga DT", Hachiman Hikigaya in "My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected", William Twining in "Devils and Realist", Yuuji Terushima in "Haikyuu!!", and Takeo Gōda in "My Love Story". He gained his popularity in the music industry way back 2016 when he performed character song for the series SQ and TSUKIPRO, as well as playing the role of Akihiko Kaji in the shounen-ai anime series and film "Given" in 2019 and 2020.
