RADWIMPS releases music video Uruubito, the band’s newest song that will definitely hit your heart

The music video for the newest song "Uruubito" from the Japanese band RADWIMPS has been released on YouTube.

The official YouTube channel of the Japanese band RADWIMPS has released on YouTube the music video for their newest song "Uruubito" which was used as the theme song for the recently-premiered movie "The Last 10 Years".

The music video features the movie's lead stars Nana Komatsu and Kentaro Sakaguchi. The MV was directed by the band's lead vocal and pianist himself Yojiro Noda.

The movie "The Last 10 Years" which was based on the best-selling novel by Ruka Kosaka is directed by Michihito Fujii. The lead cast includes Nana Komatsu as Matsuri Takabayashi and Kentaro Sakaguchi as Kazuto Manabe. The movie was released in Japanese theaters on March 4, 2022.


It centers on 20-year-old Matsuri Takabayashi (Nana Komatsu) who learns that she only has 10 years to live due to an incurable disease. She decides to not dwell on her life and not to fall in love, but she meets Kazuto Manabe (Kentaro Sakaguchi) at a school reunion.

RADWIMPS is a Japanese rock band that debuted independently in 2003 and later on through major label EMI Music Japan (formerly Toshiba EMI) in 2005. Their current members include Yojiro Noda ((野田洋次郎), Akira Kuwahara (桑原彰), Yusuke Takeda (武田祐介), and Satoshi Yamaguchi (山口智史). To the anime community, they are famous for providing the soundtrack to Makoto Shinkai's Your Name, one of the highest-grossing Japanese animated films, as well as the soundtrack to Shinkai's next film, Weathering with You.
