The series stars Amane Fujimiya (CV: Taito Ban) who lives alone in an apartment, and his next door neighbor is the most beautiful girl in school, Mahiru Shiina (CV: Manaka Iwami). They've almost never spoken despite being in the same class — until one rainy day he sees her in distress and lends her his umbrella. To return the favor, she offers him help around the house, thus starting a relationship between them.
