The official YouTube channel of animation studio Sunrise has released a promotional video (PV) for the second cour of sci-fi anime SCARLET NEXUS.
The PV introduces the opening theme song for the second cour, MACHINEGUN by THE ORAL CIGARETTES. They were also the artists for the opening theme song of the first cour (currently airing since Jul. 1, 2021), with the opening theme "Red Criminal."
It has also been announced that the ending theme song for the second cour will be Stranger by Ayumu Imazu.

About SCARLET NEXUS (from Wikipedia)
SCARLET NEXUS is a Japanese anime television series adaptation of the video game of the same name. It is produced by Sunrise and premiered on July 1, 2021. A second cour is in progress as of September 2021.
The game is set in both the near future and an alternate reality where humanity has developed technology and formed a society based on the substances found in human brains. These substances also grant humans extrasensory superpowers. The Other Suppression Force (OSF) recruits members with supernatural abilities to protect humanity from the Others, mindless mutants which descend from the Extinction Belt.

Solar calendar year 2020: grotesque organisms called Others have begun eating people. To take down this new enemy, the Other Suppression Force is formed. Saved by this elite team as a child, psychokinetic Yuito withstands the training to enlist. On the other hand, prodigy Kasane was scouted for her abilities. But Kasane's dreams tell her strange things, dragging the two into an unavoidable fate.
