Sci-fi manga 'Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction' announces anime adaptation

The sci-fi series by Inio Asano will be the first of his works to get animated.

The sci-fi/slice of life manga Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction by Inio Asano has announced that it is getting an anime adaptation.

Below is the official Tweet for the anime announcement. This will be the first of Asano's works to get animated. The anime will be produced by Production +h, who is known for having worked on The Orbital Children.

Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction (Japanese: デッドデッドデーモンズデデデデデストラクション) revolves around high school friends Koyama Kadode and Nakagawa Ouran, who make it a point to continue living their normal lives despite the arrival of the alien "Invaders" disrupting the peace of Japan.

The manga was serialized in Shogakukan's seinen manga magazine Big Comic Spirits from April 2014 to February 2022. It is licensed in North America by Viz Media. The series won the 66th Shogakukan Manga Award in the general category in 2021.

Cast, airing date, and other relevant details have not been revealed as of writing.
