Misaki Takamatsu's seinen manga series 'Skip and Loafer' has been announced on Sunday to receive a television (TV) anime adaptation.

The announcement was teased in the latest video posted by the official Twitter of Kodansha's Afternoon Magazine for the promotion of the manga's upcoming sixth volume release.

No other details were revealed as of writing.

The Skip and Loafer manga series written and illustrated by Misaki Takamatsu has been serialized in Kodansha's Monthly Afternoon since August 2018. As of March 23, 2021, five volumes have been released.

Kodansha describes the series as:

Iwakura Mitsumi always had big dreams, of leaving her small town, advancing to the top tier university, and then contributing to the country before retiring back to her home town. So focused is she to her goal that she is oblivious to all the other ways she comes up short, much to the chagrin and concern of her friends and family. Can a naive country girl make it in Tokyo?
