World's largest coffeehouse chain Starbucks has announced on Thursday that the company is offering a promotional event for Pokémon GO app players in the Philippines. Players of Niantic's Pokémon adventure AR game can get a complimentary upsize when purchasing a Salted Caramel Cloud Macchiato (Hot or Iced) or Salted Caramel Cold Brew beverage from Starbucks-sponsored PokéStops and Gyms located across the country. The promo runs from March 1 to March 31, 2021 only.
To avail the free upsize promo, customers must present the Complimentary Upsize advertisement in the app to the store where the Starbucks-sponsored PokéStops and Gyms are located. The customer can only get the upsize on the following beverages: Salted Caramel Cloud Macchiato (Hot or Iced) and Salted Caramel Cold Brew. The promo is both available for dine-in and take-out only and is NOT available through Drive-thru, Food Delivery, Self-Pick Up and Mobile Order & Pay.

"POKÉMON GO COMPLIMENTARY UPSIZE PROMO MECHANICS
PROMO MECHANICS:
1. From March 1 to 15, 2021, customers who present the Complimentary Upsize Offer on their Pokémon Go app will receive a complimentary upsize on the following beverages only:
a. Salted Caramel Cloud Macchiato (Hot or Iced)
b. Salted Caramel Cold Brew
2. Customers will need to redeem this offer at the store where the Pokéstop was activated. Customer must also present the Complimentary Upsize ad in the app to avail the promo.
3. No other Starbucks beverages outside of what are specified are eligible in this promotion.
4. This offer is available to all open stores through Dine-In and Take-Out. This offer cannot be redeemed through Drive-Thru, GrabFood Delivery, Self-Pick-Up, and Mobile Order & Pay.
5. This offer cannot be combined with other running offers or promotions.
6. The purchased beverage will earn a Beverage Star.
7. The following coupons and discounts are disqualified for this promotion.

Pokémon is celebrating its month-long 25th anniversary which commenced last February 27, 2021.
