A new concept film for "THE IDOLM@ASTER" has just been released to YouTube, on the official account of the Idolmaster franchise.
The concept film, named "VOY@GER", is part of the celebration of the 16th anniversary of the Idolmaster franchise. The video sees the reunion of the team behind the Idolmaster anime series, alongside big animation names such as Cloverworks. A new song, called "VOY@GER", is featured in the video and performed by various idols part of the Idolmaster franchise.
The news was announced on the program "THE iDOLM@STER 16th Anniversary Live Broadcast: 6th Anniversary P@rty!!!!" back in July. The video is directed by Atsushi Nishikori, director of the original "THE IDOLM@STER" anime series, and of the movie "THE IDOLM@STER MOVIE: To the Other Side of Brightness", as well as providing the character designs. Cloverworks and Studio Color are producers for the film, with Studio Color's Shogo Tsurii as visual director. The song "VOY@GER" features lyrics by Karasuya Sabou, and song composition by Keita Inoue, and vocals provided by the Idolmaster idols.
