A teaser trailer has been released for upcoming anime film The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbyes (Romaji: Natsu e no Tunnel, Sayonara no Deguchi), which premieres in Japan on Sept. 9, 2022.
The story features main characters Kaoru Tono (CV: Oji Suzuka), a boy coping with the loss of his sister, Karen, and Anzu Hanashiro (CV: Marie Iitoyo), a girl who transfers to his school due to certain issues. At their school, there is a popular urban legend about the Urashima Tunnel, wherein whoever enters the tunnel gets their wish granted in exchange for never aging. The two decide to work together to enter the tunnel in order to fulfill their respective wishes.
