'To Become a Real Heroine!' TV anime based on HoneyWorks' song announced for April 2022

To Become a Real Heroine! The Unpopular Girl and the Secret Task, a new TV anime series based on HoneyWork’s song "Heroine Tarumono!" has been announced on Saturday to begin broadcasting in April 2022.

Its promotional video and key visual were revealed featuring the main characters of the anime by its the 'Heroine Tarumono' Twitter account. The cast members and staff for the anime were also announced.

The animation production is handled by Lay-duce with Noriko Hashimoto serving as the anime director and Yoshimi Narita writing the scripts. The characters are designed by Hiro Kanzaki and animation director by Kaori Ishii. The music is composed by HoneyWorks and Moe Hyuga.

  • Koki Uchiyama as Yujiro Someya

  • Nobunaga Shimazaki as Aizo Shibasaki

  • Ayane Sakura as Juri Hattori
