TOEI Animation announces system hacking, results to broadcast delay of four anime series

Four anime series will be delayed due to the incident.

TOEI Animation has confirmed on Friday through their official website and anime series' official Twitter accounts that the company’s network was illegally accessed by an unauthorized third party on March 6 disabling parts of the system.

Airing schedule of upcoming TV anime "Dragon Quest Dai no Daibouken", "Delicious Party Precure", "Digimon Ghost Game", and "ONE PIECE" will be delayed.


According to ONE PIECE's official Twitter, the episode that is supposed to air on March 20 will be rescheduled at a later date.

As per the official Twitter of Dragon Quest: The Adventures of Dai, instead of the scheduled airing of its 73rd episode on Saturday, episode 31 will be broadcast. The new date of the airing of the 73rd episode will be announced at a later date.


According to the official Twitter of the Digimon Ghost Game anime series, the latest episode that is scheduled to air on March 20 will be delayed until further notice.

And lastly, as per the official Twitter account of Delicious Party Precure anime, the 6th episode of the series is delayed and will be rescheduled at a later date. It was originally scheduled to air on March 13.
