Upcoming TV anime Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth, which is the adaptation of the third and final game of the Utawarerumono visual novel, has released its first promotional video (PV) for the anime which will air in July 2022.
The anime will be produced by animation studio White Fox.
Mask of Truth follows the events after the second game Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception.
In this first PV, Yamato is at war following the fall of the emperor and the assassination attempt on Anju. The army of Ennakamuy unites to protect Anju against the forces led by Raikou.
Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth (Japanese: うたわれるもの 二人の白皇, Romaji: Utawarerumono Futari no Hakuoro) is a Japanese tactical role-playing visual novel developed by Aquaplus, which first released in September 2016 for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. An English version of Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth was published on May 23, 2017 by Atlus USA in North America and by Deep Silver in Europe.
