The original vampire visual kei anime Visual Prison is scheduled to air in October 2021, and now they have announced the addition of voice actor Tomokazu Sugita to their cast. Sugita is a highly prolific VA who is most known for his role as the protagonist Gintoki Sakata in Gintama.
In Visual Prison, he voices the mascot character, Pannya.
Although it looks like a panda, Pannya is described as a full-fledged cat who lives in Harajuku.

The series is created by Noriyasu Agematsu and animated by A1-Pictures. Tomoya Tanaka is directing the series, with Takeshi Furuta is serving as the chief director. Yukie Sugawara is writing the script, and Minako Shiba is designing the characters based on the original character designs by Ikumi Katagiri. Satoshi Motoyama is handling the sound direction and Elements Garden is producing the music.
The opening theme is Cruel Shangri-La by O★Z, the ending theme is BLOODY KISS by LOS†EDEN, and the insert song is Throne GEMINI by ECLIPSE. The songs are condensed versions of the musicality of each unit. The CD will contain all three songs and will be released in Japan on October 6, 2021.

The anime Visual Prison revolves around vampire visual kei musicians who gather in Harajuku, Tokyo, under the “Crimson Moon” annual event called Visual Prison. Towards the display of the vampire banquet, the vampires’ abilities are heightened, and they open the barrier for those called the Princes.
The musicians bring their most beautiful songs to the stage in order to captivate the audience and use these songs as offerings to the Crimson Moon. The ones who succeed in charming the Crimson Moon are awarded ultimate power.
