The anime stars Ko Yamori (CV: Gen Satō), a 14-year-old, second-year junior high school boy who is unable to sleep or find satisfaction in daily life. He stops going to school and begins wandering the streets at night.

His life takes a turn when he meets the vampire Nazuna Nanakusa (CV: Sora Amamiya), who shows Ko the joys of being a "night-walker." This results in Ko wanting to be a vampire as well, but in order to achieve his goal he has to fall in love with her first.

The main PV also features the opening theme song Fallen Angel (堕天) by Creepy Nuts. The ending theme song is Call of the Night (よふかしのうた), also by Creepy Nuts.
