The series follows the story of human protagonist Iruma Suzuki (CV: Ayumu Murase), a 14-year-old boy who is sold to a demon by his lazy and neglectful parents. The demon, known as Sullivan (CV: Takaya Kuroda), takes Iruma to the Demon World and officially adopts him as his grandson. He enrolls Iruma in the Babyls School for Demons where he is the headmaster. However, Sullivan tells Iruma to never reveal that he is human since he will be eaten if anyone finds out, to which Iruma vows to blend in the demon world. However, he always ironically stands out thanks to all the weird things happening to him.
