The official Twitter of animation studio PA Works has announced on Friday a new anime project titled "Aquatope of White Sand (Shiro Suna no Aquatope)" which is scheduled to be released in July of this year. A key visual of the new anime has been unveiled together with the announcement of the production staff and anime's main cast.
The anime will have an original story set place in a small aquarium in Okinawa. The new project will be animated and produced by PA Works with the direction by Toshiya Shinohara and series composition by Yuko Kakihara. The animation direction and characters designs will be handled by Yuki Akiyama based on the original character designs by U35. The music will be composed by Yoshiaki Dewa and Project Tingala is credited with the original work.
The anime's main cast includes Miku Itou as Kukuru Misakino and Rikako Aida as Fuuka Miyazawa.
