"Horimiya: Hori-san to Miyura-kun", the popular Japanese shounen web manga series written and illustrated by Daisuke Hagiwara will publish its final chapter on March 18 as revealed by the March issue of Square Enix's Monthly G-Fantasy magazine. The manga will be featured on the said issue's cover and will have a color opening page. The final chapter marks the end of the series' 10 year run after its serialization since 2011.

The manga was adapted from the original manga series "Hori-san to Miyamura-kun" by HERO which was released on February 2007 on HERO's website Dokkai Ahen in a four-panel format. Square Enix compiled the chapters in 10 volumes under its imprint Gangan Comics between October 22, 2008 and December 28, 2011.

Daisuke Hagiwara launched the manga series in Square Enix's Monthly G Fantasy on 2011 with HERO supervising the manga. As of September 2020, the manga has been collected into 15 tankobon volumes.

The manga inspired a TV anime adaptation by CloverWorks with Masashi Ishihama serving as the series director. Takao Yoshioka is working on the series composition and script. The character designs is supervised by Haruko Iizuka and Masaru Yokoyama is in-charge of the music composition. The series is currently airing since January 9, 2021 in Japan and is listed with 11 episodes.

English publisher Yen Press describes the series as:

At first glance, the ultra-popular Hori-san seems like a frivolous high school girl, but in reality, she's plain, pragmatic, and family-oriented. On the other hand, the bespectacled Miyamura-kun comes across as an average, gloomy high school fanboy, but he's actually an attractive young man who has a bad-boy streak and is covered in piercings and tattoos. When these two unexpectedly similar classmates have a random run-in outside of the classroom, a bubbly, sweet tale of school life begins!

B: The Beginning, originally titled Perfect Bones, is an original net animation (ONA) anime series animated by animation studio Production I.G. The first season of the anime aired on March 2, 2018 worldwide on Netflix with 12 episodes.

The series is directed by Kazuto Nakazawa who also serves as the character designer and key animation supervisor. Yoshiki Yamakawa also directed the series alongside Nakazawa, with Katsuya Ishida wrote the scripts, and Yoshihiro Ike composed the music.
