The production committee of LIDEN FILMS's original animated film "Child of Kamiari Month (Kamiari no Kodomo)" has revealed on Wednesday a new poster visual for the upcoming film featuring the main protagonist Kanna and her companions Yato an oni boy, and Shiro a one-winged rabbit. The film is scheduled to open in Japanese theaters this Fall.
LIDENFILMS is handling the animation production with Toshinari Shinohe being credited for the original work, and Takana Shirai being credited for the original concept and also serving as the animation director. Kazuya Sakamoto is serving as the creation director and LIDENFILMS representative director Tetsuro Satomi as the animation producer. The scripts are written by Tetsurou Takita and Ryuuta Miyake, and Haruka Sagawa is designing the characters.
The cast includes:
Aju Makita as Kanna
Miyu Irino as Yato
Maaya Sakamoto as Shiro
Riko Nagase as Miki, Kanna's classmate
Chafurin as Kotoshironushi, the god who rules Izumo
Wataru Takagi as Ryūjin
The story centers Kanna who loses her will to continue her love of running after the passing of her mother. By the will of the gods, Kanna heads to a shrine in Izumo. This visit to the shrine will start a new adventure for her involving, Yato an oni boy, and Shiro a one-winged rabbit.
