The Spain Arc of Hashigo Sakurabi's "Dakaretai Otoko 1-i ni Odosarete Imasu" Japanese yaoi manga series has been announced on Monday to receive an anime film adaptation titled "DAKAICHI -I'm Being Harassed by the Sexiest Man of the Year- THE MOVIE: In Spain (Dakaretai Otoko 1-i ni Odosarete Imasu. Eiga: Spain-hen)" for Fall 2021 release. An announcement video was released along with a key visual featuring the film's protagonists.
The film is adapting the Spain Arc of the manga series. It is animated by CloverWorks with Naoyuki Tatsuwa serving as the series director. Yoshimi Narita is incharge of the screenplay and the character designs are by Shiba Minako and Senri Kawaguchi. Masaru Yokoyama is handling the music composition. Hashigo Sakurabi is credited as the original creator. Aniplex is distributing the film.
The initially announced cast includes:
Yuuki Ono as Junta Azumaya (returning)
Hiroki Takahashi as Takato Saijyo (returning)
Kousuke Toriumi as Kazuomi Usaka (returning)
Wataru Hatano as Kiyotaka Arisu (returning)
Takuya Satou as Chihiro Ayagi (returning)
Yuuma Uchida as Ryou Narumiya (returning)
The original Dakaretai Otoko 1-i ni Odosarete Imasu. is a Japanese yaoi manga series written and illustrated by Hashigo Sakurabi which started its serialization in 2013 in Libre Publishing's Magazine Be × Boy monthly magazine. It was published into individual volumes and has been collected into 6 volumes as of January 2020.
It has been adapted into a TV anime series titled "DakaIchi: I'm Being Harassed By the Sexiest Man of the Year" consisting of 13 episodes which aired from October 5 to December 28, 2018 in Japan. The series is animated by CloverWorks and directed by Naoyuki Tatsuwa. The series composition was handled by Yoshimi Narita, characters designed by Minako Shiba, and the series composition by Masaru Yokoyama.
Libre Publishing, which published the manga, describes the story as:
