Demon Slayer's Zenitsu and AOT's Connie voice actor Hiro Shimono tests positive for COVID-19

Japanese voice actor and singer Hiro Shimono, who recently played Zenitsu Agatsuma in the anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and Connie Springer in Attack on Titan, has been announced to be diagnosed with the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) as reported on Tuesday by his talent management agency I'm Enterprise.

According to the agency's public announcement posted on its website, Shimono has tested positive for the virus after taking the PCR Test and received the result on July 2. The voice actor has seek medical advice and will undergo monitoring under the guidance of the health centers and medical institutions.

Ken Production's statement on Anri Katsu being infected with COVID-19

The agency stated that the voice actor being infected with COVID-19 is still a question to the talent agency but will investigate and trace contact with other people.


Anri Katsu is notable for his roles as Zenitsu Agatsuma in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Nacht Faust in Black Clover, Dabi in My Hero Academia, Connie Springer in Attack on Titan, Haruka Kasugano in Yosuga no Sora, Hanzō Urushihara in The Devil Is a Part-Timer! and many more.
