Extramarital affair J-drama 'Fishbowl Wives' airs on Netflix this February 14

Spicy drama for Valentine's anyone?


Netflix Japan has released a teaser video for an upcoming drama titled Fishbowl Wives, scheduled to air worldwide on Feb. 14, 2022.

The drama is a collection of stories featuring various married women having extramarital affairs.


Warning: This video contains scenes not suitable for young audiences.


The trailer opens with Ryoko Shinohara as Sakura Hiraga who surprises herself as she finds herself committing infidelity with Haruto (played by Takanori Iwata). Haruto cares for Sakura who is a victim of domestic violence from her husband.


Other stories in the collection include The Outsourcing Wife starring Yuka (played by Shizuka Nakamura) who wants to have a child but is living a sexless marriage. There is also The Lunchbox Wife featuring newlyweds Saya (played by Anna Ishii) and Sota (played by Atsuhiro Inukai) whose love for each other leads them to cross paths.
