The official Twitter for TYPE-MOON's Fate/Grand Order The Movie Divine Realm of the Round Table: Camelot anime film has announced on Monday that the premiere date for the upcoming second part of the film titled "Fate/Grand Order The Movie Divine Realm of the Round Table: Camelot - Paladin; Agateram" has been delayed to May 15, 2021 due to COVID-19 concerns.
The delay is due to the state of emergency issued by the Japanese government in four prefectures in response to prevent the further spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) infection. The film was originally scheduled to open in Japanese theaters on May 8.
Animation studio Production I.G is in-charge of the animation production for the second installment of the film. Mieko Hosoi assists Takeuchi for character designs for animation and Keita Haga and Hideyuki Fukasawa will compose the film's music. Mamoru Miyano returns to perform the second film's theme song.
The first part of the film titled "Fate/Grand Order The Movie Divine Realm of the Round Table: Camelot - Wandering; Agateram" has opened today in Japanese theaters. The film was originally scheduled to premiere last August 15 but was later postponed to December due to the effects to production brought by the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. The first film was produced and animated by Signal.MD with the direction of Kei Suezawa.
