From the creators of Death Note, 'Platinum End' TV anime series announced, premieres Fall 2021

The official Twitter for the TV anime adaptation of Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata's "Platinum End" manga series has announced on Saturday that the manga series is receiving a TV animation which is scheduled to premiere in Fall 2021. A key visual and a promotional video (PV) were released on its Twitter page and on the PONY CANYON YouTube channel.


The anime will be animated by Signal MD with Hideya Takahashi, who is known for "Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Golden Wind" will serve as the series director. The character designs will be handled by Koji Ooya, and Shinichi Inozume will be in charge of the series composition and screenplay.


The series is based on the Japanese manga series written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata which has been serialized in Shueisha's Jump Square monthly magazine since November 2015.


The series' creators Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata is well-known to produce hit series including "Death Note" and "Bakuman."

As his classmates celebrate their middle school graduation, troubled Mirai is mired in darkness. But his battle is just beginning when he receives some salvation from above in the form of an angel. Now Mirai is pitted against 12 other chosen humans in a battle to become the next god of the world. Mirai has an angel in his corner, but he may need to become a devil to survive.
