Japanese VA Hiroshi Kamiya, Masako Nozawa, Nobunaga Shimazaki call for measures against COVID-19

Talent agency Aoni Production, which houses different voice actors and entertainment stars, has announced recently that a message from their talent-voice actors Hiroshi Kamiya, Masako Nozawa, and Nobunaga Shimazaki calling for thorough preventive measures against the new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections will start broadcasting sequentially starting Friday, June 4 at selected Tokyu Group's major facilities located Shibuya area in Tokyo, Japan.

Establishments managed by the Tokyu Group such as the SHIBUYA109 store, Shibuya Hikarie ShinQs, Tokyu Line Shibuya Station will be broadcasting the voice actors' messages within the respective premises. Aoni Production agrees with the Tokyu Group and selected the three talents for the good cause of giving awareness to the people in preventing the further spread of the virus in the country.


Just recently, the Japanese government has extended its state of emergency in selected prefectures in Japan to reverse the increasing infection trend and as well as to help the implementation of the ongoing nationwide vaccination program.


The three voice actors was chosen to deliver the message due to their big influence in the entertainment industry as they are all notable for voicing highly-recognizable characters in anime, films and drama.

Hiroshi Kamiya, the voice actor, narrator and singer from Chiba, is notable for being the voice of Levi Ackerman in "Attack on Titan", Trafalgar Law in "One Piece", Izaya Orihara in "Durarara!!", Edogawa Ranpo in "Bungo Stray Dogs", and many more. He won "Best Lead Actor" and "Best Personality" at the Third Seiyu Awards in 2009.


Masako Nozawa, the voice actress, TV personality and narrator, is notable for voicing the characters Son Goku, Son Gohan, & Son Goten in "Dragonball", Doraemon in the series "Doraemon (1973-1988)", Tetsurō Hoshino in "Galaxy Express 999" and others. She had achieved two Guinness World Records in 2017; both of which was related to voicing the character Son Goku in Dragon Ball video games for 23 years and 218 days.


And lastly, Nobunaga Shimazaki, the voice actor from Miyagi, Japan, is notable for giving voice to characters Yuno in "Black Clover", Eugeo in "Sword Art Online", Yuki Sōma in "Fruits Basket", Hyuse in "World Trigger", Ryō Sakurai in "Kuroko's Basketball", Haruka Nanase in "Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club", Shidō Itsuka in "Date A Live", Shinichi Izumi in "Parasyte", Mugi Awaya in "Scum's Wish", and countless more.
