Ai Kayano (茅野 愛衣) is a Japanese voice actor. She was represented by the talent agency Pro-Fit until 2014, after which she transferred to Office Osawa in 2015. She debuted under Pro-Fit in 2010, starring in the original video animation Princess Resurrection. Her big break came when she won the Best Rookie Actress award at the sixth Seiyuu Awards in 2012 for her roles as Meiko "Menma" Honma in Anohana and Kanade Ōe from Chihayafuru.

Kayano-san has represented a wide range when voicing female characters. From the quiet, reserved Shiro from No Game, No Life, to the tough, courageous Lalatina "Darkness" Dustiness Ford from KonoSuba, Kayano has shown she can voice them all. While many fans associate her with the jolly Menma from Anohana, she has also taken on aloof characters like Chizuru Hishiro from ReLIFE, motherly roles like Kanae Kochou from Demon Slayer, and playful characters like Alice Zuberg from Sword Art Online: Alicization.
