The multimedia project Love Live! Sunshine! has announced a special live performance in December to countdown the New Year. The performance will feature the first, and last, one-man live in 2021 by the idol group Aqours, under the Love Live! Sunshine! project.
The announcement came on Aug. 23, 2021 as part of the "Midsummer's Big Announcement Special!" live stream that featured members of the idol groups. Entitled "Love Live! Sunshine!", the joint live performance will mark the end of 2021 with the New Year's countdown and will also feature other idol groups of the "Love Live!" project, including Leilla! and the Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Club.
Plans for performances by Aqours in 2022 have also been announced, with a planned live at the Vantelin Dome Nagoya and the MetLife Dome on February and March 2022, respectively.
The one-man live of Aqours will be held on December 29 and 30 at the Pia Arena MM in Yokohama, Japan. Further details will be released in the future.
