Level-5 Inc.'s cross-media project Megaton-kyuu Musashi has announced via the series' official website that season 2 of the anime will air within Fall 2022.
The first season of the anime has been airing on Japanese channels such as TOKYO MX and BS Fuji since October 2021.
In addition, the trial version of the game for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch was released today, December 9. The first free update for the full version is also available. For details on the game, please see the official website.
Megaton-kyuu Musashi is a sci-fi series that takes place after 2118, when alien invaders called Dracters have gained total control over the Earth and wiped out 90% of humanity. Survivors live in shelter communities where their everyday lives are monitored, and memories of the invasion are erased. Three teenagers from the shelter are chosen to pilot three machines that combine to form the Musashi robot that is made from a material called Megatronium alloy. The series is a combination of robot action and school life.
