A new manga spin-off of Rifujin na Magonote's Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation will focus on Eris!
The spin-off, titled 「無職転生～エリスは本気で牙を砥ぐ～」(Romaji: Mushoku Tensei~Eris ha Honki de Kiba wo Togu~; Unofficial English: Eris Seriously Sharpens Her Fangs) has begun serialization today, March 15, on Square Enix's Gangan Online app.
The spin-off's story begins after Eris and Ruijerd are easily defeated by Orsted. Eris, who has gone on a separate journey from Rudeus, remains haunted by the incident, and vows to train harder to hone her skills. She decides to look for the Sword God Gal Farion to ask for his guidance.
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation (Japanese: 無職転生 〜異世界行ったら本気だす〜) is a Japanese light novel series by Rifujin na Magonote about a jobless and hopeless man who dies after having a sad and withdrawn life and reincarnates in a fantasy world while keeping his memories, determined to enjoy his new life without regrets under the name Rudeus Greyrat.
The anime television series adaptation by Studio Bind aired from January to December 2021. A second season has been announced.
A manga adaptation by Yuka Fujikawa began serialization in the June 2014 issue of Monthly Comic Flapper. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the tankōbon volumes of the manga for localization in North America.
