The official website of Shueisha Books has listed on Friday a new "Death Note" book franchise titled "Death Note: Short Stories". The new volume information on the site reveals that Takeshi Obata is credited as the author and Tsugumi Ohba for the original work. It also reveals that the new volume will be released on February 4, 2021 in Japan and is priced at 540 yen (excluding tax). No book cover and other details were revealed as of writing.
