New 'Naruto' stage play announced for the first time in four years

The newest "Naruto" stage play titled "Live Spectacle -Naruto- ~ Uzumaki Naruto Monogatari ~" based on Masashi Kishimoto's original work has been announced on Thursday for the first time in four years since the last Naruto stage performance was performed in Japan. The stage's main visual was revealed along its cast and performance dates.

The cast of the previous stage in 2015 returns for the new stage performance except for Kōdai Matsuoka who played Naruto Uzumaki which will now be taken by Japanese actor Masaki Nakao. Ryuji Sato will play as Sasuke, Yui Ito as Sakura, and Yuki Kimisawa as Kakashi. They will be joined by additional cast members including Ryo Kitazono as Minato Namikaze, and Yuki Tamaki as Nagato.

The "Live Spectacle -Naruto- ~ Uzumaki Naruto Monogatari ~" will be held in Japan from December 4th to December 13th at the Japan Youth Center Hall in Tokyo, and from December 25th to January 2nd, 2022 at the Mel Park Hall in Osaka.


The stage is directed and scripts are written by Akiko Kodama, and music is composed by Wada Shunsuke.
