The official YouTube channel of YouTube Plus Ultra has streamed on Wednesday the second promotional video for the upcoming original TV anime "Night Head 2041" revealing the series' cast members. The anime is scheduled to begin broadcasting in July 2021.
The anime production is handled by Shirogumi, who handles many video works, from live-action works that make full use of VFX to TV animation works. In addition, Takamitsu Hirakawa, who was the CG director of "Etotama" and "Revisions", will be the first director of the film. The character design draft is handled by Ito Ogure, who has many popular series such as "Air Gear", "Tenjho Tenge", and "Bakemonogatari", known to draw beautiful and delicate characters.

Kensho Ono as Yuya Kuroki
Takahiro Sakurai as Takuya Kuroki
Daisuke Ono as Naoto Kirihara
Nobunaga Shimazaki as Naoya Kirihara
The anime is based on the popular Japanese cult TV drama written and directed by George Iida which was broadcasted from 1992 to 1993. It was later spawn an entire franchise including a made-for-TV movie of the same name in 1994 as well as manga and books. It was adapted into an anime series titled "Night Head Genesis" aired on TV network Animax on July 27, 2006.
