'Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness' 3DCG animated series unveils new visual, releases 2021 worldwide

The official 'NX' Twitter of streaming giant Netflix has revealed on Friday a new teaser visual for the upcoming original 3DCG animated series of the Resident Evil franchise titled "Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness". The new visual features Resident Evil 2 protagonists Claire Redfield and Leon S. Kennedy. The series is scheduled to be released worldwide in 2021 exclusively on Netflix.


Netflix released a trailer last September.

Resident Evil, known in Japan as Biohazard, is a Japanese horror video game series and media franchise created by Capcom. The story follows people trying to survive outbreaks of zombies and other monsters created mainly by the pharmaceutical company Umbrella Corporation. The franchise has inspired different live-action film series with multiple installments, animated films, television, comic books, novels, audio dramas, and other media and merchandise.
