The Chinese mobile game Girls' Frontline is getting a Japanese anime adaptation titled Dolls' Frontline, scheduled to air on Jan. 7, 2022 on TOKYO MX, ABEMA, and BS11.

The music featured in the video is the opening theme BAD CANDY by yukaDD.

Girls' Frontline (Simplified Chinese: 少女前线) is a mobile strategy role-playing game for Android and iOS developed by China-based studio MICA Team where players control female moe android characters called T-Dolls who each specialize in a particular weapon. The game was released in Mainland China on May 20, 2016, while the global English version was released on May 8, 2018. The Japanese version was released on Aug. 1, 2018, under the title Dolls Frontline (ドールズフロントライン) due to the "Girls' Frontline" trademark in Japan already being held by another registrant.

Synopsis from MAL:

After the third world war, nations devastated by biological warfare no longer have the ability to protect the wastelands, so the defense of these territories is left to private military companies like Griffin & Kryuger, whose android soldiers or "tactical dolls" are tasked with fighting the rogue android army of Sangvis Ferri. Now M4A1, the indecisive but potentially capable leader of the elite "Anti-Rain" team must protect her comrades in a series of operations to try and regain the upper hand against Sangvis Ferri.
