Shoot! Goal to the Future, the new TV anime adaptation of Tsukasa Ōshima's soccer manga series Shoot!, has released its main promotional video. The anime is scheduled to air in July 2022 on TOKYO MX, TV Shizuoka, BS FUJI, AT-X, and other networks. The show is produced by EMT Squared.
Shoot! Goal to the Future is a completely new anime that takes off from the original story of the manga by Tsukasa Ōshima. In Goal to the Future, Kakegawa High School's soccer team has lost their former glory of being a national championship-level team. Now, protagonist Hideto Tsuji (CV: Chiaki Kobayashi) and his teammates find themselves with renewed determination after learning they will be under the tutelage of soccer legend Atsushi Kamiya (CV: Yūichirō Umehara) who once played for the Italian team.
The video also features the opening theme Aoleid sung by Airi Miyakawa.

A 58-episode anime television series adaptation titled Aoki Densetsu Shoot! (蒼き伝説 シュート!, lit. "Blue Legend Shoot!") was produced by Toei Animation and broadcast between Nov. 7, 1993 and Dec. 25, 1994 on Fuji Television.
A brand-new original anime television series by EMT Squared titled Shoot! Goal to the Future (シュート!Goal to the Future) will premiere in 2022.
