The official Twitter of Netflix's NX has announced on Monday that SEGA’s legendary video game icon Sonic the Hedgehog is receiving a new 3D animated series titled "Sonic Prime". The new series will premiere exclusively on Netflix in 2022.
Canadian animation studio WildBrain Studio and entertainment production company Man of Action Entertainment were both tagged in the post. No additional details were revealed as of writing.
