Special episode 'Dr.STONE: Ryusui' releases main PV for July 2022 broadcast

The special focusing on Ryusui follows the events of the Season 2 anime.

The main promotional video has been released for Dr.STONE: Ryusui. The anime will air in Japan on July 10, 2022 as a 1-hour special TV episode on TOKYO MX and other channels.

Dr.STONE: Ryusui follows the events after the second season from 2021 (Stone Wars). The battle against Tsukasa Empire is over. Senku and the Kingdom of Science are about to travel to the other side of the earth to find out the mystery behind the petrification phenomenon. To set sail, they revive expert sailor Ryusui Nanami (CV: Ryōta Suzuki) who is made captain of the Perseus.


As with the main anime, Dr.STONE: Ryusui will also be animated by TMS Entertainment.


As previously announced, Season 3 of the main anime will air in 2023.


Dr. Stone (stylized as Dr.STONE) is a Japanese manga series written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by the South Korean artist Boichi. It was serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump from March 2017 to March 2022. The manga is licensed in North America by Viz Media. In 2019, Dr. Stone won the 64th Shogakukan Manga Award for the shōnen category.


The story follows teenage scientific genius Senku Ishigami, who plans to rebuild civilization after humanity was mysteriously petrified for 3,700 years.


Season 1 of the anime television series adaptation by TMS Entertainment aired from July to December 2019. Season 2 of the anime focused on the "Stone Wars" arc and aired from January to March 2021. Season 3 is set to premiere in 2023.
