'SPY x FAMILY' manga series exceeds 10 million copies in circulation, new manga chapter published

The Twitter account of manga editor Shihei Lin has revealed on Monday (JST) that Tatsuya Endo's "SPY x FAMILY" manga series which he serves as an editor has exceeded 10 million copies in circulation worldwide. The manga's latest mission, Chapter 46, was also released via Shueisha's Shōnen Jump+ application and website.

In addition, the latest Volume 8 which is announced to be bundled with a rubber strap with art drawn by Tatsuya Endo will start shipping on July 16.


Hours before the announcement, Lin teased that the manga will be announcing two new information which turns out to be the manga's milestone and the latest volume release information.

Last May 13, it was announced that the SPY x FAMILY manga is getting a novel titled "Spy x Family Family Portrait" written by its author Tatsuya Endo & Aya Yajima. The novel consists of 770 pages with a large amount of illustrations drawn by the author himself.


The SPY x FAMILY manga series is written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo which has been serialized since March 25, 2019 in Shueisha's Shōnen Jump+ application and website. It is being released on the app for free in a biweekly timing. As of March 2021, it has been collected into 7 tankōbon volumes published by Shueisha.


The story follows a spy who has to "build a family" in order to execute a mission, not realizing that the girl he adopts as a daughter and the woman he agrees to be in a fake marriage with are a mind reader and an assassin.
