'Sugar Apple Fairy Tale' releases teaser PV for 2023 broadcast

Sugar Apple Fairy Tale follows the story of aspiring Silver Sugar Master Anne Halford (CV: Yuka Nukui).

Teaser promotional materials have been released for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Miri Mikawa and aki's fantasy light novel series Sugar Apple Fairy Tale.


The anime is slated to air in 2023 and will be produced by studio J.C.STAFF.

The story follows Anne Halford (CV: Yuka Nukui), a Candy Craftswoman who aspires to follow in her late mother's footsteps and earn the title of Silver Sugar Master.


On the way to the annual Candy Fair, she meets the warrior fairy Shall Fen Shall (CV: Masaaki Mizunaka), who becomes her bodyguard and friend.

Sugar Apple Fairy Tale (シュガーアップル・フェアリーテイル) is a Japanese fantasy light novel series written by Miri Mikawa and illustrated by aki. The light novel is published by Kadokawa Shoten under their Kadokawa Beans Bunko imprint.


A manga adaptation with art by Alto Yukimura was serialized online via Hakusensha's Hana to Yume Online website from November 2012 to October 2014.


A second manga adaptation with art by Yozora no Udon has been serialized in Kadokawa Shoten's seinen manga magazine Young Ace since November 2021. Both the light novel and second manga are licensed in North America by Yen Press.
