'Tesla Note' manga series receives TV anime adaptation for 2021

Masafumi Nishida, Tadayoshi Kubo, and Kōta Sannomiya's "Tesla Note" manga series has been announced on Wednesday to receive a TV anime adaptation this year. A promotional video and teaser visual were revealed by its official Twitter account which opened today along with the announcement of the anime's cast and staff.

The series is animated by Studio Gambit with Michio Fukuda serving as the series director. The scripts are written by Masafumi Nishida, characters are drafted by POKImari, and music is composed Kaoru Wada.

The cast includes:

  • Konomi Kohara as Botan Negoro

  • Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Kuruma

  • Tomoaki Maeno as Ryūnosuke Takamatsu

  • Junichi Suwabe as Mickey Miller

  • Hiroshi Kamiya as Oliver Thornton

The series is based on the Japanese manga series written by Masafumi Nishida and Tadayoshi Kubo, and illustrated by Kōta Sannomiya which was serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shounen Magazine on January 6, 2021. The first tankōbon volume will be releasing in April 16.

Mission T is a secret operation to save the world from destruction. Trained as a ninja from a young age, Botan Negoro, raised to become the ultimate spy, teams up with another excellent spy, Kuruma. Their aim is to recover the legacy of the genius inventor Nikola Tesla, the "Shards of Tesla." Can the two outwit the agents of other countries who are also pursuing these fragments? A super-original spy thriller begins.
