Myoujin Katou's "The Greatest Demon Lord is Reborn as a Typical Nobody (Shijō Saikyō no Daimaō, Murabito A ni Tensei Suru or The Greatest Mao Is Reborn to Get Friends)" novel series has been announced on Saturday to receive an anime adaptation according to an announcement article posted on Dengeki Online website. The anime is currently in production and no other details were revealed as of writing.
The series is based on the Japanese light novel series written by Myoujin Katou and illustrated by Sao Mizuno which was serialized in 2017 in Kadokawa's Fantasia Bunko imprint. As of November 2020, it has been collected into 7 volumes by Kadokawa.
