Myoujin Katou's 'The Greatest Demon Lord is Reborn as a Typical Nobody (Shijō Saikyō no Daimaō, Murabito A ni Tensei Suru or The Greatest Mao Is Reborn to Get Friends)' light novel series has been announced on Saturday that the previously-announced anime adaptation of the series will be a television (TV) anime and will begin broadcasting in 2022 in Japan.
A teaser visual was also revealed as part of the announcement.
The TV anime series is animated in collaboration of animation studios SILVER LINK and BLADE with Mirai Minato serving as the series director. The character designs are handled by Takayuki Noguchi.
The series is based on the Japanese light novel series written by Myoujin Katou and illustrated by Sao Mizuno which was serialized in 2017 in Kadokawa's Fantasia Bunko imprint. As of November 2020, it has been collected into 7 volumes by Kadokawa.
