The legendary Iceblade Sorcerer, Ray White, will be voiced by Junya Enoki.

The first promotional video has been released for the TV anime adaptation of light novel series The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World.
The anime is slated to air in January 2023 and is animated by Cloud Hearts.
The series follows the story of the most powerful soldier, the Iceblade Sorcerer, whose true name is Ray White (CV: Junya Enoki). After leading his country to victory in a war three years ago, he enrolls at Arnold Academy and keeps his identity a secret to experience the luxury of a normal life.
At the academy, he befriends various students, one of which being the kind but prideful Amelia Rose (CV: Iori Saeki). But Ray realizes he can't fully leave the past behind because a spy is lurking in the shadows and threatens the people he holds dear.

It is published by Kodansha under their Kodansha Ranobe Bunko imprint.
A manga adaptation illustrated by Norihito Sasaki has been serialized in Kodansha's Magazine Pocket website and app since June 2020.
