The official Twitter and YouTube channel for the new "The Prince of Tennis" franchise have revealed on Friday a promotional video for the second part of the two-part anime film titled "The New Prince of Tennis: Hyoutei vs. Rikkai - Game of Future". The second part is premiering on April 17 on Japan's streaming service U-NEXT.
Apart from the PV, two new key visuals were also released.
The first part of the film debuted last February 13 in the same streaming platform and is a part of the 20th year anniversary celebration of Takeshi Konomi's "The Prince of Tennis" original anime series this year.
In the new anime film, the match between Hyotei Tennis Team with its captain Atobe Keigo and the Rikkai Tennis Team led by Seikai Yukimura, which is not depicted in the original story, will be told.
The project will be completely supervised by Konomi, directed by Keiichiro Kawaguchi, screenplay by Kouki Hirota, and character design by Meiji Ishii.
