'The Rising of the Shield Hero' Season 2 TV anime premieres October 2021

The official EN Twitter for the TV anime series adaptation of Aneko Yusagi's "The Rising of the Shield Hero (Tate no Yūsha no Nariagari)" light novel series announced on Saturday that the previously announced second season of the anime series has been scheduled to premiere in October 2021. Its first promotional video (PV) for the sequel was also re-streamed.

The series is animated by animation studios Kinema Citrus and DR MOVIE with Masato Jimbo serving as the series director. The series composition is written by Keigo Koyanagi, and characters are designed by Masahiro Suwa based from the original illustrations by Seira Yanan.
