Anime film 'Kin no Kuni Mizu no Kuni' releases teaser trailer, cast for Spring 2023 premiere

The anime film adaptation for Nao Iwamoto's romance manga Kin no Kuni Mizu no Kuni premieres in Japan in Spring 2023.

A teaser trailer has been released for the anime film adaptation of Nao Iwamoto's romance fantasy manga Kin no Kuni Mizu no Kuni (Land of Gold Land of Water). It is scheduled to premiere in Spring 2023.


The film will be animated by Madhouse under the direction of Kotono Watanabe (director of Btooom!, assistant director of Chihayafuru)

The romance series stars Princess Sarah (CV: Minami Hamabe) from Land A and Prince Naranbayar (CV: Kento Kaku) from Land B. They are supposed to fall in love and get married in order to repair the relationship between their two countries.


Kin no Kuni Mizu no Kuni (Japanese: 金の国 水の国, English: Land of Gold Land of Water) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Nao Iwamoto. It was serialized in Shogakukan's Flower Comics α Special from October 2014 to April 2016, with its chapters collected into one tankōbon volume released on July 8, 2016.
