Spira Spica's 'Sun Sun Days' Makes Us Want to Go on Sundates Too!

Studio CloverWorks' much-awaited anime My Dress-Up Darling just aired yesterday, Jan. 9, 2022. We know you found the opening theme Sun Sun Days absolutely adorable featuring Marin and Wakana's chemistry!


So let's meet the artists behind this adorable feel-good song: Spira Spica (スピラ・スピカ)!

Okay, first off, fall in love with said opening theme, Sun Sun Days (燦々デイズ). This is Spira Spica's ninth single, and the full version will be released on Feb. 2, 2022.


In case you're wondering where else you've heard their music, they sang Start Dash, which was used as the ending theme song for the second cour of Gundam Build Divers (2018).


They continued performing for said anime series with Re:RISE, the opening theme for the 2019 sequel Gundam Build Divers Re:Rise.


They also performed Love is a Miracle 「恋はミラクル」, the ending theme for 2019 anime Ao-chan Can't Study!

Spira Spica (Japanese: スピラ・スピカ, Romaji: Supira Supika) is a Japanese pop rock band from Kansai and is affiliated with Sacra Music. The band began activities under the name Snowman in 2013 until they changed to their current name in 2018. Later in the same year, they made their major debut under Sacra Music with the release of the single Start Dash.


The original band members consisted of childhood friends Yūji Teraniji (guitar) and Masuda (Bass). They would later be joined by Mikiha after Teraniji and Masuda announced they were looking for a female vocalist.
